New Batteries

It's a miracle Blogger hasn't erased Lantern's Light by now. Good to be back.

My roshi, a Jesuit priest teaching Zen Buddhism as a combined history and religion course, used to tell us "the road to hell is paved with good intentions". I never used to understand what that meant, until I realized now much I wanted to get done, planned to get done, told people I'd get done...and never did.

Some recent events have caused me to examine how I spend my time, what I make priorities, how important the goals that I say I wish to reach really are. For starters, I'm gearing up my eBay business again, and taking every opportunity to keep focused during my day job.
